The schedule is:

6-7pm for K-2 classrooms
7-7:30pm for the PTA General Meeting in Cafeteria
7:30-8:30pm for 3rd - 5th grade classrooms

Grounds Corps Meetings: 8/25 & 8/26

The Gullett Grounds Corps will meet on the 2nd grade ramp Wed 8/25 at 7:45am and Thurs 8/26 at 9:30a.

Our Grounds Committee (and all the green thumbs of the members) works hard each year to maintain the various gardens around Gullett. At least twice a year the committee schedules an “All Hands” day of weeding, mulching, raking… whatever needs to be done. This committee buys the supplies needed for these events and coordinates the effort.

Cub Scout Pack 55 Recruiting Night, Sept 1, 6:30

Join in the fun! Cub Scout Pack 55 is centered in and around Gullett Elementary and is run 100% by parent volunteers. We are having our annual Recruiting Night on Wednesday, September 1^st at 6:30 in the Gullett Cafeteria for parents and boys interested in learning more about Cub Scouts. In Cub Scouts, boys have lots of fun, adventure, and activities. Cub Scouts is open to all boys 1^st thru 5^th grades. Please bring your future scout (we will have activities) and your checkbook to sign him up for the new school year. Contact Karen Moore, kpmoore@onr.com, 453-5753 for more information.

Family Fun: The Skate party was a huge success!

We broke the record for the number of skaters at a private party at the Playland Skate Center - 265 for a total of $660 raised for the Gullett PTA!

A huge thank you to all who came out. Mark your calendars now - our next skate party will be Wednesday, January 19th 6-8pm.
The next Family Fun event is the Back to School Pool party at NW Pool Saturday, August 28th from 3-5pm. Admission is $1 for kids, $3 for adults. We don’t get any of this money, but we will get 20% of the proceeds from the sale of Jim-Jims Water Ice right outside the gate. Hope to see you there!
